Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has congratulated the Minister Of State for FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijjani on her nomination, successful screening, retreat and Oath taking as a minister, the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Governor Bello, in a statement made public by his Chief Press Secretary, Hon Onogwu Muhammed described Dr Ramatu as a woman of uncommon brilliance and pride to womanhood both within the state and the country at large.

The Governor said Dr Ramatu, who distinguished herself during her time as APC National Women Leader, was brilliant and hardworking as demonstrated in the impressive outing she had on the floor of the senate during her screening, saying he had no doubt she would distinguish herself in the ministry as an astute urban and regional planner.

He said his administration is proud of her conduct and dedication to projects, noting that the federal government is lucky to have a kind-hearted and intelligent woman like her within its ranks.

While wishing her the best in her new assignment, the Governor called on citizens of Kogi State to rally round the minister and provide her with the support she needs to succeed in her new office.
